Live music, parties, flea markets and more
During summer time, Formentera is filled with life and activity for the locals and tourists alike. In the majority of our villages you will find singers and musicians playing every Saturday during the months of June to September, a very pleasant way of spending a Saturday night with a drink outdoors. If you are keen on shopping, on the weekends, both at night and day, you will usually find flea markets in many villages here in Formentera. It is the perfect chance to buy a souvenir for your stay on the island. If you are around on July 25th, you should know that Sant Jaume is La diada de Formentera and we celebrate it. It is the most important festivity on the island and it is when we celebrate the famous ‘Flower Power’. A celebration that recreates the hippy vibe of the 70s and that, still to this day, you can feel in some of our streets and art markets.
